quotes What are you guys baseing brand quality on?

quotes Bryantaber, I'm simply reffering to their quality... frame build quality to be more precise. Some brands jut don't use the same level of materials and give some bs name like AL1 aluminum, specialized was unable to tell me what it actually was, many its alright, but if they don't tell you my guess is not. And quality control is a big factor as well, some companies just don't give a shit, the day I do an alignment check on a trek and get a straight one I may reconsidder what I think obout them, but il have to measure a second straight one first. And then its which factory they come from, preferably Taiwan, they have better quality than china, and definately better quality then the Cambodian factory, and it just costs too much to make good afford ably quality locally.

quotes All the negativity... I have had 3 sets of avid brakes with taper bore and they are all awesome. Bleed em when necessary take care of them and they will work awsome. And when you bleed em just overhaul the caliper, easy and guarentees proper working order. Iv bled plenty of avid brakes and only when I don't overhaul caliper do they not come out as good. Just my two cents.

quotes I just like how bryantaber put giant bikes and quality in the same sentance, I suppose norco, kona, and trek are the best as well? O and don't forget cannondale... big names don't Necessarily mean good quality

quotes Don't pull dust seals back or you could get dirt in seals. Just put a lil Judy butter on stanchions, push em down a few times and wipe off excess so dirt doesn't stick

Oh sorry, I should explain, you send me a rather nasty message a little bit ago that I hadn't gotten because I've been away from the site for a while. I was just returning a reply.

I'm flattered you stalk me on pinkbike. But your observations are flawed.

Sorry princess. It's true, same exact performance on a MBP.
